Abingdon Marina

We at Abingdon Marina are the perfect place boaters select when seeking Inland waterway perfection. Our marina is not only  surrounded by beautiful wildlife but it is offering safe, secure moorings which can be tailored to suit your needs. So no matter if you are looking for a permanent (annual) stay or just somewhere to keep your boat safe till you return home – our marina is the one for you! Set in picturesque surroundings, with a park and a glorious private woodland on one side and an award-winning housing development on the other, you would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful marina in the whole of England.

We are ideally located to visit Oxford and The Cotswolds as well as all the pretty villages of the Thames Valley. Not to mention we are only a 10 minute cruise down the river from Abingdon-on-Thames town centre. The town itself has a variety of pubs and restaurants, as well as a whole host of historic buildings ti visit including Abingdon Abbey, the Old County Hall, St Helen’s Church, Wharf and more.

We are able to accommodate cruisers, narrowboats and wide-beam barges here at our marina, for short term, long term and seasonal moorings which will suit most requirements. Our facilities are second to none! For peace of mind, all boats are moored to floating pontoons, which will ensure your pride and joy will be fine during the worst of weather conditions. Plus we have water available to all moorings and electricity to most. We have an Elsan emptying station onsite, as well as ladies’ and gents’ toilets and a secure compound for parking your car for when you are away cruising. Our slipway can also be used for most trailer drawn boats, but please ring or email us for more info.

We even have Boats for sales which are handled by Gary Boughton-Smith from Premier Marine Ltd at Abingdon Marina.

Please do not hesitate to get in contact with us for further information on any of our services or you can simply come down and see first hand what we can do for you – we would love to meet you! Alternatively you can watch our video on YouTube.
