Maryport Harbour And Marina Ltd Maryport Marina is situated on the Solway Coast, which is in the beautiful county of Cumbria. The marina was created in the historical Senhouse Dock, which has 190 pontoon berths and hard standing storage for 70 boats. The 25-ton self-powered slipway hoist operates down the company’s slipway to the water and back to the hard standing. The shower and toilet block is accessible 24 hours per day as is the pedestrian gate using our security system. Water and electricity is available on the pontoons and hard standing. Diesel and Gas sales are available during the hours of day light. The picturesque harbor area and town centre is easily accessible either walking or cycling. There are various attractions suitable for the whole family, which include the Roman museum, Maritime museum, the Aquarium, playground, Clip n’ Climb in the Wave Centre, with a number of scenic walks, great places to have a bite to eat and there is plenty of parking around the harbor. I have been restoring and building boats since school, with the business formed 35 years ago, I have always specialised in the repair and restoration of classic or historical vessels.Our work has included major rebuilds on all manner of vessels, some from a working background and others that were built as yachts.FLAG MASTSWe are one of only a small number of businesses that undertake the building and erection of traditional wooden flag masts.This can be small, about 18′ – 20′ single pole type, or up to90′ comprising main mast and top mast, with or without yard arms and gaff. Mast are made of home grown Douglas fir, and all standing riggings are of stainless steel, and running rigging is of polyester rope.All flag masts are finished, primer, undercoat and three top coats, unless otherwise agreed.NEW BUILDWe can undertake new build of any traditional type of craft, from dinghy upwards.
