Our fully trained and qualified team are approved by all leading Marine Insurance companies. Our speciality, insurance repairs! We provide our services on all types and sizes of crafts . We are highly skilled in working with Glass & Fibre reinforced plastic (GRP & FRP), carbon fibre & other composites, and we are specialists in Gel coat finishes using epoxy & polyesters by using both the hand-layup & spray methods. Some of our other specialities include: working with wood, marine ply, etc, Teak decks, timber brightworks, steel, aluminium & other alloys, osmosis treatment & prevention, and also stainless steel work is undertaken by our experts.
We have a dedicated Rig Shop with all the latest facilities. We are successful Yacht racers ourselves and we know first hand what to do with rigging to get the best performance and how to do it. The experience we have developed over generations of sailing enables us to handle the rigging of your cruising yacht for you so you can enjoy it at its best.
We are able to re-fit or paint any project from touching up the smallest detail of equipment installed to a major re-paint – we can do it! Every need will be catered for to keep your boat in pristine condition. You can also benefit from the peace of mind of having your engine or electronics installed, serviced & maintained by professionally trained & qualified engineers.
For slipping and loading we have a crane & sling hoist, privately owned slipway with walkway & pontoon with access onto the main channel at Pwllheli. We guarantee that your vessel will stay in the same condition as it started in whilst in transit. We will lift and work on any craft you wish us to move.
You can take advantage of our secure storage facility too which you can use any time of the year. It is on privately owned land, where some of which is undercover – all areas however have the finest security measures including CCTV cameras.
Fancy a boat or yacht of your own? then look no further, we have a selection available for purchase. Appointments, we must add, are required for winter weekend viewings (November to February). We have a wide range of New and Brokerage vessels plus most major brands of both outboard and inboard engines.
On site we have a shop for all your chandlery needs. It is open 7 days a week, March to September. It holds a large and comprehensive stock including boating equipment, personal safety products, and marine clothing – specials can be ordered on-line.
