Boat Towing Services
At BTS, we specialise in boat towing and yacht transport for loads up to 3.5 tonnes (including the trailer). Our experienced boat transporter, Brian Rowlands, is a qualified RYA Yacht Master, ensuring your vessel is in expert hands.
We offer a wide range of trailers specifically designed to transport all types of motorboats, yachts, RIBs, and catamarans. Additionally, we provide trailers tailored for rowing boats, dinghies, and sculls. For vessels weighing under 3 tonnes, our 4×4 and trailer combination provides a cost-effective transport solution. For larger vessels, we utilise a low loader deck that sits less than 12 inches off the ground, making it ideal for transporting fin keel yachts and cruisers with large air drafts.
For abnormal loads, we operate our own escort vehicle with radio contact between drivers, ensuring the safety of the load and other road users throughout the journey.
With over 20 years of experience, we’ve successfully transported a wide variety of boats, motorboats, and yachts across the UK, Ireland, and Europe—most frequently to France and Spain. To give you peace of mind, we carry full all-risks insurance specifically tailored for towing.
